Blizzard has Confirmed that Private Vanilla Servers Will Be Back

A fresh 1.12 project with the right timeline and customized changes would have a great chance of surviving and succeeding. It also needs an organization that is able to fix bugs and is ethical. It’s not a massive server, as per blizzards standards, but it could certainly have the traction/interest to sustain an healthy population of 2k to 3k online players which is more than enough.

Also SoM is dead judging by https://ironforge.pro/population/som/ The next one may never happen or be really far away.

I left SoM after i realized that the meta post level 51+ was intended to grind AV to earn an epic mount that is free and AQ equipment in phase 1. It’s also the feeling of the game, with all the bots and boosting, and the soulless environment that comes with them. PVP while lvling, RPing in goldshires/cities , and playing in guild rivalry is the best way to experience “peak gaming” in WoW. I don’t want a soulless, guildless p2w buyer botter experience. This is what blizzard provides.

Blizzard has many promises. They make you believe that it will be different this time, but they never make good on their promises. They rarely moderate after the release of a server, delay in intervening and frequently do wrong things when they do. I’m done with Blizz but I’ll never be done with WoW i believe. wow dad This is the reason I keep checking this subreddit, hoping to finding a new home, even if thats just for a few months.
